How it Works

• Enter the mass and initial velocity for each block.
• The simulation will display the blocks moving and colliding.
• The collision is calculated assuming an elastic collision (no energy loss).
• After the collision, the blocks will move with new velocities based on the conservation of momentum and kinetic energy.
• Negative velocity indicates movement to the left.

• Momentum: The product of an object's mass and velocity. In a closed system, momentum is conserved.
• Kinetic Energy: The energy of motion. In an elastic collision, kinetic energy is conserved.
